Consider nominations for the 2024 VML Policy Committees

Recommendation and Review
The Virginia Municipal League is now accepting nominations for its 2024 policy committees. Attached is a memorandum, description of the policy committees and policy process, and the nomination form. VML is asking for nominations to be submitted by May 24, 2024. VML did not send us the nomination forms for 2023, but the 2022 Appointments are as follows:
Community & Economic Development - Council Member Jones
Infrastructure - Vice Mayor Dent and Council Member Hirschmann
Finance - Vice Mayor Romero
General Laws - Chris Brown, city attorney
Human Development & Education - Mayor Reed
No member can serve on more than one committee.
