Recommendation and Review

Consider the special event application request for Magpie’s First Friday’s Live Music Events on July 2, August 6, September 3, October 1, November 5, 2021 from 6-10pm.

 

Background: Magpie is requesting to close Liberty Street between Gay and Rock to host live music events on the first Friday of each month from July through November.

 

This application was reviewed and approved by the Special Events Committee on May 21, 2021.

 

The total cost of this event is estimated to be around $3,500. The event organizer is responsible for payments to HPD off-duty officers.

- PW Support (street closures, barricades)

- PD Support (might be necessary with expanded ABC perimeter - Magpie will pay for off-duty officers as needed)

- COI and endorsement to be submitted prior to event

- ABC License attached
