Recommendation and Review

This supplemental appropriation is the result of additional federal revenue provided to the Harrisonburg City Public School (HCPS) division to continue the summer feeding program for students throughout the summer. The HCPS is also expanding the community eligibility provision to all schools which will shift $302,108 from local meal charges to federal revenue. These items will require no additional local dollars from the city.
