Recommendation and Review
Eastern Mennonite University is requesting the closure of Park Rd. from Mt. Clinton Pike to Parkwood Drive from 2pm-7pm on 10/17/20 for Homecoming activities.
This application was reviewed and approved by the Special Events Committee on 3/30/20.
As in previous years, Harrisonburg Public Works will provide a message board at Mount Clinton Pike and drop off barricades. EMU staff and volunteers will place barricades and help manage the closure of Park Rd.
The total cost of the event is estimated to be $270. The applicant is responsible for any applicable payments to off-duty HPD officers, if requested.
