Recommendation and Review
The property is currently a vacant, residentially zoned lot. The owners of the property would like to construct a home on the lot and have requested a water and sewer easement through a portion of Hillandale Park, in order to connect to the existing sanitary sewer and water lines. The plans have been reviewed and approved by the City’s Department of Public Utilities and Department of Public Works. Under state law, the easement may only be granted for up to 40 years.
