Recommendation and Review
Harrisonburg Public Utilities maintains a continuous surety bond so that it may work in VDOT R-O-W for minor construction activities. For projects that exceed the value of the bond on record (most immediate is the upcoming Shenandoah Raw Waterline), VDOT requests that by resolution that the City of Harrisonburg shall in all respects comply with all of the conditions of the VDOT Land Use Permit or Permits that have been, or will be, granted and guarantees the successful completion of the work, or, if appropriate, restoration of the right of way to its original condition.
