Recommendation and Review

Consider a request from the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board and Richard L. & Betty K. Sampson to rezone a 0.46 +/- acre portion of a 2.96 +/- acre parcel from B-2C, General Business District Conditional to B-2C, General Business District Conditional by removing existing proffers, and to rezone a 1.56 +/- acre parcel from R-2, Residential District to B-2C, General Business District Conditional. The two parcels are located at 1353 and 1361 North Main Street.

 

Planning Commission recommended approval (7-0) of the rezoning request as submitted by the applicant for tax map parcels identified as 42-B-3 and 42-B-5, respectively.
