Recommendation and Review

Subject:

Title

Council approved the closing of half of the alleyway containing 907 +/- square feet on February 14, 2017.  Letters to all property owners were sent on January 20, 2017 notifying them that the applicant’s portion was closed and if money isn’t received from adjoining property owners Gerald Myers and Gregory Helmick by February 15, 2018, the applicant will have the opportunity to purchase the remaining portion of the alley. No communication was received from adjoining property owners, and H2 Investments, LC had the opportunity to purchase the remaining half.  Funds were received for the 2nd half by H2 Investments, LC and is being presented for approval by council.

History:  Planning Commission recommend approval (5-1) of closing the 10-feet wide by 181-feet long alley located adjacent to tax map parcels 40-U-4 and 40-U-9, 10, & 11
