Recommendation and Review

Planning Commission recommended approval (7-0) for closure of the approximately 10-foot in width alleys, which connect to East Washington Street and Myrtle Street, and are located adjacent to tax map parcels 33-B-1, 2, 5, 23, 24 & 25.

On September 11, 2018, after verifying that the adjoining property owner, the Salvation Army, was not interested in purchasing the other half of this alley the applicant paid the full amount due to purchase the 1,699 square foot portion of the alley closing request as per plat attached.  The request to close the other alley off of Myrtle Street has been rescinded.
