Recommendation and Review
Representatives from Build Our Park (BOP) have requested approval from the City for placement of a fundraising sign on City property fronting on Liberty Street (the former MEI property). Permission for signage had previously been given by Council to the holder of the option on the property in question, but that entity no longer exists. As such, BOP is requesting that Council now grant them approval to place the sign.
While final BOP project parameters and timing have not been determined, staff has no objection to the placement of the sign, subject to appropriate sign approvals from Community Development.
