Summary:
On September 1, 2016, Secretary Todd Haymore announced that the Commonwealth of Virginia awarded the City of Harrisonburg a $50,000 grant from the Virginia Agriculture and Forestry Industries Development Program to assist T&E Meats, LLC with an expansion of its current facility. These VA grant funds will be awarded to the City of Harrisonburg and then passed on to T&E Meats, LLC in accordance with Performance Agreement requirements. This agenda item is a request to place these state grant funds into the Harrisonburg Economic Development Department budget.
