Recommendation and Review
This proposal expands the boundary of the South Main Street Retail Revitalization Zone. The current zone extends from the southern city limits along S. Main Street to the Stone Spring / Erickson Avenue intersection. City staff and the Economic Development Advisory Committee recommend extending this zone further north along S. Main Street to the South Avenue intersection. The intent is to encourage continued retail redevelopment along this corridor by offering incentives for new capital investment. This is a first reading.
