Recommendation and Review
Public Works staff will be presenting information on the newly implemented single stream solid waste collection program. As of August 3, 2015, the city will no longer have a separate collection for recyclables and asks that all citizens, who currently receive curbside refuse collection, to comingle their solid waste into one container. This new program will increase the city’s recycling rate from the current 27% to a projected minimum of 50%.
