Recommendation and Review

This supplemental appropriation will appropriate a Virginia Opioid Abatement Authority (OAA) grant award totaling $200,000 which partners with Rockingham County (County).

This OAA Cooperative Partnership Grant provides funding to assist with the abatement of the opioid epidemic within localities. The grant requires a partnership between multiple local governments. The City and County are subgranting the award to Strength in Peers for support of their Peer Recovery Center.
