Recommendation and Review
The City of Harrisonburg’s Naming Policy requires adoption of a resolution to name a City facility. City staff recommends City Council adopt a resolution to name the under-construction City facility presently referred to as the ‘Homeless Services Center,’ located at 1111 N. Main Street, Harrisonburg, as ‘The Navigation Center.’ A public hearing was held on August 23, 2024 and a 30-day public comment period concluded on August 24, 2024.
