Recommendation and Review
Mr. Cook plans to propose additional parking and information will be provided to council prior or during the meeting.
Planning Commission recommended approval (7-0) of the special use permit to allow manufacturing, processing and assembly operations when not employing more that fifteen (15) persons on the premises in a single shift and provided that all storage and activities are conducted within a 21,400+/- square foot building on property zoned B-1C, Central Business District Conditional and identified as tax map parcels 35-O-4 & 5, with the following conditions:
1.      One parking space per 300 SF of gross floor area and parking spaces shall be clearly delineated and,
2.      If in the opinion of Planning Commission or City Council, the use becomes a nuisance, the SUP can be recalled for further review, which could lead to the need for additional conditions, restrictions, or the revocation of the permit.
