Recommendation and Review

Background: This is the 13^th Annual Rocktown Turkey Trot in downtown Harrisonburg. It is a four-mile race on Thanksgiving morning for families and their guests in the Shenandoah Valley.

This application was reviewed and approved by the Special Events Committee on September 4, 2025. 

The total cost of this event is estimated to be around $12,000. The event organizer is responsible for payments to HPD off-duty officers and PW charges.
