Recommendation and Review

These supplemental appropriation requests will carryover and reappropriate outstanding prior year encumbrances in the amount of $14,947,224.27, unexpended prior year grant awards in the amount of $5,983,590.61 and new grant awards in the amount of $1,807,028.00. These total $22,737,842.88.

 

These supplemental appropriations represent an increase of over 1% of the total city budget. Code of Virginia Section 15.2-2507 requires a public hearing for budget amendments that exceed 1% of the budget.
