The Parks and Recreation Department recently received a reimbursement from the Virginia Division of Game and Inland Fisheries (DGIF) in the amount of $2,164.00 for the purchase of "Bear Proof" trash receptacles at Riven Rock Park.

The Parks and Recreation Department also received an insurance recovery in the amount of $10,413.50 to reimburse for stolen property related to a break in at the Hillandale Park maintenance facility.
