Recommendation and Review
At the September 8, 2015 meeting, Council members indicated an interest in filling the position of Assistant Director of Economic Development. This is a position that has been in the City system for a number of years, at one point having been filled via a contract with James Madison University, but standing vacant since 2009.
Attached for further discussion is a copy of the position class specification and an non-exhaustive listing of possible initial task assignments should the position be filled.
