Recommendation and Review
These supplemental appropriation requests will carryover and reappropriate outstanding prior year encumbrances in the amount of $12,012,105.42, unexpended prior year grant awards in the amount of $8,850,700.76 and new grant awards in the amount of $1,223,813.00. These total $22,086,619.18.
These supplemental appropriations represent an increase of over 1% of the total city budget. Code of Virginia Section 15.2-2507 requires a public hearing for budget amendments that exceed 1% of the budget.
