Recommendation and Review
As required by Virginia Code Section 46.2-1217, City Council created an advisory board consisting of members of local law enforcement, local towing operators, and members of the general public to draft proposed policies and fee structures for law enforcement requests for towing.
Sergeant Westfall has worked with the advisory board since its initial creation to formulate reasonable expectations and fees to govern law enforcement requests for towing services in the City of Harrisonburg. Before these policies and fee structures can become effective, they must be approved by City Council.
