Recommendation and Review
This resolution is required for submitting a grant application to the Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant Program which is administrated by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation for construction of athletic fields and associated amenities. The grant would be in the amount of $300,000.00 and would require an equal amount of matching funds from the City. The project would be at Smithland Road Park.
