Recommendation and Review
The Harrisonburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority (HRHA) requests that City Council adopt a resolution authorizing and approving its participation in two affordable housing developments within the Bluestone Town Center project. Under Virginia Code §§ 36-19 and 36-19.2, housing authorities must receive authorization from their locality’s governing body before undertaking new housing development projects.
