Recommendation and Review
The proposed ordinance amendments are based on updates to the City’s MS4 permit language regarding illicit discharges. Revisions were to distinguish between exempt flows from emergency fire-fighting activities and training fire-fighting activities, which required them to be managed in a manner to avoid in-stream impacts, and to clarify when exterior washing activities were not considered an illicit discharge.
