Recommendation and Review

Mike Collins, Director of Public Utilities, has finalized the city’s Water Withdrawal Permit #16-0730 as issued by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) on June 28, 2016. Mr. Collins has subsequently updated the City of Harrisonburg Raw Water Supply Management Plan (RWSMP). The RWSMP document is attached hereto the City Council agenda.

 

Mr. Collins will specifically address the recommendations to engage completion of the South Fork Shenandoah River Project and to significantly advance the Dry River Project. Additional information will be provided by powerpoint presentation at City Council
