Recommendation and Review
As part of City Council’s Action Plan priority 2A, to “assess and determine how to provide additional support to expand early childhood education and after-school programs supported by the City,” the City hired consultants to conduct a child care needs assessment. Kelly Schaffer of Foundations for Families will present findings from the assessment and recommendations for the community to improve access to child care in Harrisonburg.
