Recommendation and Review
Retail pharmacies Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS, as well as opioid manufacturers Teva and Allergan, have reached agreements to settle opioid-related litigation. City Council previously approved participation in similar settlement agreements with opioid manufacturer Janssen Pharmaceuticals and its parent company, Johnson & Johnson, and distributors McKesson, Cardinal Health, and Amerisource Bergen.
