Recommendation and Review

The City’s Department of Public Transportation was awarded a grant from the state Department of Environment Quality (DEQ) to purchase to electric school buses. These funds represent the difference in the increased cost between two electric school buses compared to two gas/diesel school buses. This grant will also fund the installation of the infrastructure needed to support the two electric school buses.
