2. Public Comments
There will be an open time for members of the public to comment (maximum 5
minutes) regarding observations or concerns that they wish for staff and/or the
Subcommittee to evaluate or address. Comments regarding the items to be
discussed later in the meeting are to be held until that item has been presented,
at which point there will be time for public comment.
3. SMART SCALE Round 7 Update
Staff will present updates regarding the city’s planned SMART SCALE project
applications.
4. Bike/Ped Counting Activities
Staff will summarize bicycle and pedestrian data and trends from the permanent
counters on the Bluestone Trail, Friendly City Trail, as well as the Public Works
mobile counter.
5. Harrisonburg Bike/Ped Plan History
Staff will provide an overview of previous city bicycle and pedestrian plans.
6. City Sidewalk Overview
Staff will provide a general overview of the process of how sidewalk in the city
gets built as well as past and current efforts to build and upgrade sidewalk.
7. Project Updates - see attachment
Staff will answer any questions regarding the attached updates on funded
projects.
