There will be an open time for members of the public to comment (maximum 5
minutes) regarding observations or concerns that they wish for staff and/or the
Subcommittee to evaluate or address. Comments regarding the items to be
discussed later in the meeting are to be held until that item has been presented,
at which point there will be time for public comment.
3. Pedestrian Signal Considerations and Changes
Potential changes to some pedestrian phasing/accommodations at traffic signals
will be presented by city staff due to considerations of emergency vehicle
interactions.
4. Crash Reporting and Crash Data Review of 2025
Staff will provide an overview of crashes that have occurred in the city involving
people biking or walking. The data presented are from the VDOT crash analysis
tool.
5. Project Updates
Staff will answer any questions regarding the attached updates on funded
projects.
