Recommendation and Review
The current audit contract expired with the audit of the Fiscal Year 2018 financial statements. Proposals were recently solicited from qualified certified public accounting firms. A committee of three reviewed the proposals. The committee is recommending that Brown Edwards & Company, L.L.P. be retained to provide audit services for the City and for staff to enter into a 3-year contract with the option to renew for 2 additional 1-year terms.
