Recommendation and Review
The Public Utilities Department has successfully secured most of the real estate interests needed for the Eastern Raw Waterline Project. However, two land owners have thus far rejected the City’s offers to purchase the needed interests. This resolution enables the City to use condemnation proceedings if necessary to acquire the remaining needed real estate interests. The Public Utilities Department will continue its efforts to secure the needed interests through good faith negotiations.
