Recommendation and Review
Background: The Hispanic Festival is an annual event that takes place in Harrisonburg. This year, it will return to Smithland Athletic Complex. The Festival will have a full day of activities, food, and live music. A soccer tournament will take place on pads 1, 2, & 3.
This application was reviewed and approved by the Special Events Committee on March 21, 2024.
The total cost of this event is estimated to be around $4000. The event organizer is responsible for payment of applicable charges.

- PW Support (no parking signage, roll off container, digital message board)
- HPD Support (off-duty officers)

- Commissioner of Revenue (food tax, business licenses)
